Executive Function Skills Coaching (planning and prioritization, emotional and behavioral regulation, working memory, task initiation, time management, problem-solving, focus/attention, flexible thinking, impulse control, metacognition) and Activities of Daily Living Coaching organically embedded into the design of every camp.
Treatment team consultation with involved practitioners and schools.
Discharge summary and consultation provided to parents/guardians following the conclusion of each camp.
Option for a pre-camp in home visit (GA and NC) for registrations received before 4/1 to familiarize the camper and parents with our staff and the trip. We find this helps reduce anxiety for both our campers and parents.
Our campers form bonds and build strong friendships. For many, these are the first real friends they have ever had! Your camper will get invited to these new friends’ birthday parties and have friends to invite to their own!
Our Aerie Experiences are so fun and invaluable and effective that many of our campers choose to return (and often to multiple camps) year after year after year, eventually graduating into our Young Adult Program!
