Ellen Server, EdS. In-Home Specialist. Mentor and Super Nanny

Ellen Server is a highly experienced consultant specializing in child and adolescent development, education, and behavioral intervention. With a career spanning over six decades, she has dedicated her expertise to teaching, counseling, program administration, and professional development.

Ellen began her career in education in 1964 and has since held numerous leadership roles. She served as the Adolescent Director at Mill Springs Academy (1977–1990) and later became a Staff Development Instructor at Gwinnett County Public Schools (1990–2000). She was also a Program Administrator for the North Metro Program at Gwinnett County Public Schools (1990–2006). Her commitment to youth advocacy led her to work with the Gwinnett County Juvenile Court, where she has been an expert witness on child and adolescent issues since 1990.

In addition to her roles in education, Ellenhas extensive experience in counseling and behavioral intervention. She worked as a counselor at Pathways Transitions Program (2000–2005) and has served as an Educational Consultant, Behavioral Specialist, and Parent Coach with Southeastern Integrative Services since 2006. She has also been involved in parent training and coaching, equipping families with effective strategies for supporting children with behavioral and educational challenges.

Ellen’s passion for education extends to higher learning. She was an adjunct professor at Shorter University (2010–2015) and Georgia State University (2011–2016), where she contributed to the development of future educators and professionals in the field.

Currently, Ellen is the owner of Welcome Home Family Services (2016–present) and Ellen Server LLC (2014–present), where she continues to provide family consulting and behavioral support. Her work focuses on fostering positive family dynamics, guiding parents through effective strategies, and advocating for the well-being of children and adolescents.
