Catherine is the founder and owner of Rhythm and Therapy, a music therapy practice based in Marietta specializing in working with children and teens with special needs. She plays guitar, piano, and ukulele. She is an Atlanta native and graduated from the University of Georgia. While in Athens, she was an active member of the Redcoat Marching Band and Sigma Alpha Iota. Catherine completed a 6-month internship with Fulton County School’s Music Therapy program, where she served a variety of children with special needs in Pre-Kindergarten through High School. Catherine became a music therapist because she had experienced first hand the power of music, and wanted to work with children and young adults with special needs. She has participated in the Jamaica Field Service Project, a music therapy program in Jamaica, where she worked in a hospital, a psychiatric ward, a geriatric facility, and a school setting.
